Theodore R. Small, MD Dr. Theodore Small is a board-certified general surgeon with a special interest in teaching and performing bariatric and advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is the Medical Director of the Morton Plant Mease Bariatric Center, Surgical Director of the Mease Heartburn Center and also is a consultant surgeon for Ethicon Endo Surgery and Bard-Davol, acting as a course director for advanced laparoscopic surgery programs, as well as instructing surgeons from across the country on the newest techniques.
